Shoot for Planting Ideas
Brief
The brief here was quite simple, shoot and provide quality images for their website, publications and flyer's.
Planting Ideas is a company run by Karen and Marvin who using their respective horticultural knowledge and skills will visit schools and introduce the children into the world of plant science.
Shooting Plan
After the initial consultation a plan was put in place to photograph Marvin and Karen in a teaching environment. A school was chosen and all the necessary model release form filled. The class room was a modern room with plenty of ambient light so there was very little flash required which meant less distraction for the children.
The shoot took place in one day using two groups of children of different ages. Care was taken to change the background and camera position (including overhead!) to give a sense of timelessness and place.
